Iibahin ko na ang lugar ng pag momove-on, hindi na talaga sa Sagada, sa Iloilo talaga mga besh! haha!
So if you haven’t read my first blog, pls do so 😅 This is sort of the 2nd part of it. ✌🏻
What I did after my 10-year relationship ended (A travel guide to Iloilo)
I did not plan this. When I booked my ticket to Iloilo it was because of the upcoming wedding of my friend’s sister. I didn’t realize I was also here almost a year ago, doing my first solo travel and trying to move on from my first heartbreak. lol.
Ang bilis pala talaga ng panahon. Isang taon na pala. Akalain mo yun?
Going back to my travel, our first day is spent entirely on the wedding preparation.
📍Final fitting of bridesmaid dress
📍Last minute party needs for the event
📍Settling in the hotel in preparation of the big day
You know how I realized I was okay?
I was looking at the bride with a joyful heart and then I said to myself, someday, I’m gonna marry a man who will love me wholeheartedly and unconditionally.
AND I did not think of him.
ACCEPTANCE. Accepting that he will no longer will be in my future. Accepting that he chose a path different from what we both dreamed of. Accepting that we simply are not just meant for each other.
After 1 year nasa acceptance na ako. HAHAHA! Well, what can I say? It’s a process. You cannot cheat your way to it.
And then I also realized I wasn’t the same person anymore. I’ve grown. I’ve become stronger.
Sabe nga ni Laida Magtalas, “Version 2.0 STRONGER, BOLDER, FIERCER.” (Portrayed by Sarah G) 😂
THE BIG DAY

Best wishes ate Cherry and kuya Perfecto! ❤️
Third day in Iloilo
We went to Gigantes Island together with ate Cherry’s friends and colleagues. Since some will be coming from Iloilo City, we opted to rent a Van and they picked us up along the way (Btw, I am staying at my friend’s house).
From Estancia port we hired a pump boat to take us around Gigantes Island. You have 2 options in doing a Gigantes Island tour, you may opt for a joiners tour or rent a pump boat. Since we are a group of 13 adults and 2 kids we decided to rent a pump boat for Php 6,000.
Usual joiners rate is Php 999 inclusive of food.
Even though it’s my second time in the island, I am still in awe of its beauty. Check out some of my photos below:
Tangke Lagoon

I have lots of memories here. From telling a group of strangers what I was going through to just plainly looking afar thinking, “what if inayos ko? edi dalawa sana kame ngayon dito.”
I am glad I came back. This time I am healed. I am genuinely happy. And whatever worries and what ifs I had, I buried it in the sand and let the ocean take it away.
Fourth Day
This is the first time I traveled without any itinerary prepared 😂 So my apologies if this blog isn’t as informative as my other blogs.
Our next destination is Garin Farm. I really really wanted to go here specially with all the pictures I’ve seen on the internet.
Garin Farm is mainly popular due to its tourist attraction called, Heaven on Earth. But did you know they also feature agriculture and houses various livestock? They also offer leisure activities such as swimming, zip line, horseback riding and boating.
How to go to Garin Farm?
Ride a jeep (Php 100) going to San Joaquin at Molo Terminal and tell the driver to drop you off at the way to Garin Farm. From there, rent a tricycle or a habal habal to take you to the entrance of Garin Farm for Php 10 each. Travel time is about 1hr to 1.5hrs.

Fifth Day
Second to the last day! Arrrghh.
I joined my friend’s family outing. haha. We went to Concepcion island together with their relatives.
I think it is one of the most underrated tourist attraction in Iloilo. It features a white sand and a sand bar during low tide.
We rent a kubo (Php 200) where we can put our things and a griller.
How to go to Concepcion Island?
We rented a jeep going to Concepcion. From the port, we rented a pump boat to take us to Concepcion Island.
If you are taking public utility, you may ride bus going to Concepcion in Tagbak Terminal in Jaro Iloilo. Travel time is between 2.5hrs – 3hrs.

If you are looking for a nice place to just chill and relax with family and friends, this is a nice place to go to.
I heard you can also do some Island Hopping for Php 1.5k per boat. However, we just wanted to enjoy the view and rest our tired feet.
Sixth Day
Last day in Iloilo City.
Since my flight is still at 8pm in the evening I took the opportunity to roam around the City. I did not get much chance to do this a year ago. Here are some of the places I visited.
1. Mrs Wharton – located in SM Iloilo
If you’re craving for delicious treats, this is a go to place! yey!

2. Iloilo National Museum

3. Jaro Cathedral

So that’s it guys! I hope you enjoy this hugot/travel blog ko.
If there is anything I can advice to those who are going through a heartbreak right now, that is to continue to pray and ask God for guidance. Allow yourself to heal. HUWAG MAGMADALI. Entering into another relationship will not heal you from the scar that the previous relationship gave you.
Slowly but surely tayo mga bes 🙂
It is so good to feel love and to give love but it is so much better when we are with the right person.
Thank you for reading 🙂
